2023 Legacy Family Camp Schedule

Theme: Branded-Riding for the Brand (Ephesians 1:13)

Location: Maywood Christian Camp, Hamilton, AL

Wednesday

Scheduled time slots in the afternoon/evening for early arrivals

Evening Devotional for early arrivals time TBD

Thursday

Scheduled registration between 9am-noon 

12:00 pm - Camp meeting in mess hall

12:30pm - Lunch & Clean-up (hot ham & cheese sliders, sandwiches, salad bar, veggies, fruit, chips)

1:45pm - Welcome/Singing - Keynote #1-The Brand is Not Ours (Wesley Skelton)

3:00pm-5:00pm - Free Time (lots of fun activities)

4:00 pm - Jeremy Pate’s Art Class in Mess Hall

5:00pm - Dinner & clean up (BBQ, chips, salad bar, baked beans, slaw)

6:30pm - Singing/Keynote #2-The Meaning of the Brand (Matt Wallin)

8:00pm - Trunk or Treat Night 

9:45pm - Late Night for Teens

Friday

7:00am - Gatekeepers 

8:00am - Breakfast and clean-up (Biscuits/gravy, eggs, sausage, fruit)

9:30am - Class #1

10:30am - Class #2

12:00pm - Lunch & Clean Up (chicken strips, potato wedges, corn, salad bar, rolls)

1:30pm - Free time (lots of fun activities)

3:00pm - Singing/Keynote #3-Competing Brands (Jeremy Pate) 

4:00 pm - Families get ready for theme night/supper workers report for duty

5:00 pm - Dinner & Clean Up (Chili, soup, grilled cheese)

6:15pm - Theme Night/Rodeo Begins!

9:30pm - Late Night for Teens activities

11:00pm - Lights Out (families are sleeping)

Saturday

7:00am - Gatekeepers

8:00am - Breakfast and clean-up (Pancakes, bacon, scrambled eggs, fruit)

9:30am - Class #3

10:30am - Family Devotionals followed by boy’s leading singing

12:00pm - Lunch & clean-up (Nacho bar)

1:30pm - Free time (lots of fun activities)

3:00 - Group Epic Kickball Game 

5:00pm - Supper (Baked spaghetti, rolls, green beans, salad, bread)

6:30pm - Singing/Keynote #4-Loyalty to the Brand (Steve Schinnerer)

8:00pm - Canteen & Talent Skit Night

9:45pm - Late Night for Teens activities

11:00pm - Lights Out (families are sleeping)
 

Sunday

8:30am - Breakfast (Cereal, fruit, leftovers!)

9:30am - Worship/Keynote #5-Riding with Others (Joe Wells)

11:00am - Clean-up
